The Yukon Quest 1000-mile international sled dog race from Whitehorse (Yukon Territory) to Fairbanks (Alaska). Deke Naaktgeboren (Alaska) and Andy Pace (Alaska) mush over the top of Eagle Summit in a storm with a group of two other mushers. The climb over Eagle Summit the steepest and most difficult climb during the 1,000 mile race, and the storm took all the mushers and their dogs had to get over the pass.
